Proof over polish

Flagship systems recruiters can inspect.

Each project is designed to show production instincts: reconciliation loops, health checks, metrics, RBAC, packaging, dashboards, and repeatable workflows.

NanoDeploy

Kubernetes operator & control plane

A Kubernetes operator and control plane for provisioning and reconciling PostgreSQL services through declarative custom resources.

recruiter signal

PostgreSQL services managed through custom CRDs

  • Built a controller-runtime reconciler that continuously drives live state toward the desired CRD state.

  • Exposed operator workflows through a Gin REST API and React dashboard.

  • Packaged with Helm, RBAC, ServiceMonitor support, Prometheus metrics, and a distroless non-root image.

DriftGuard

GitOps drift detector & auto-remediator

A Go-based Kubernetes drift detection platform that compares live cluster state against Git and closes the loop with alerts, metrics, and remediation.

recruiter signal

Detects drift, alerts, records sync history, and can remediate

  • Uses Git as the source of truth and compares live Kubernetes resources against expected manifests.

  • Sends Slack alerts, exposes Prometheus metrics, and records sync history in a dashboard.

  • Supports dry-run workflows and auto-remediation through server-side apply.

ObserveX

One-command Kubernetes observability stack

A Cobra CLI that installs, checks, opens, and removes a Kubernetes observability stack using the Helm SDK and client-go.

recruiter signal

Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager bootstrapped by CLI

  • Bootstraps Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager with Grafana datasource wiring.

  • Includes install, status, dashboard, and uninstall commands with health checks.

  • Uses port-forwarding to open dashboards and make cluster state inspectable quickly.

Platform lab

The projects run against a real lab, not just a README.

The point is to show the habits recruiters want in an entry-level hire: deploy it, observe it, debug it, document it, and make it repeatable.

  • Self-hosted kubeadm cluster on Arch Linux

  • Operators, GitOps tooling, and observability stacks deployed end to end

  • Prometheus/Grafana metrics, ServiceMonitor support, Helm packaging, and RBAC

  • Designed to mirror production workflows without claiming professional experience

About

Cristian Verduzco

Computer science graduate focused on backend, platform, and systems engineering. I build production-style infrastructure tools in Go and Kubernetes: a custom operator and control plane, a GitOps drift detector with auto-remediation, and a one-command observability stack. These projects run against a self-hosted kubeadm lab that I administer end to end, from Linux hosts and manifests to dashboards, metrics, and deployment workflows.

Self-hosted platform lab

Administer a kubeadm Kubernetes cluster on Arch Linux; build and run operators, GitOps tooling, and observability stacks end to end.
